Rich Get Richer, While It's "Austerity" for the Rest of Us
Repetitio est mater studiorum.....repetition is the mother of learning.
And in the words of the holiday song, "Though it's been said, many time, many ways......"
Today, David Sirota says it at Open Left: "We have a political culture with no guiding principle other than pursuing that which protects the wealthy. That means deficits translate into social service cuts but not requisite revenue-generating tax increases. It means cuts to programs that help the poor, but no cuts to corporate welfare that helps the rich. It means status quo for the wealthy and "austerity" for the rest of us."
We have been and will continue repeating these facts and truths many times, many ways.
