On Human Right Day, the International Labor Rights Forum named the world's worst companies for workers' freedom of association. Of the top five worst companies, three are headquartered in the United States: R. J. Reynolds, Chiquita Brands International and Del Monte Fresh Produce.
In case you missed, Don Blankenship, the CEO of Massey Energy, with the blood of many dead miners on his hands, resigned and received a golden parachute worth millions, a reward for putting profit before safety and human lives.
Judicial crisis: "The Senate has overseen the slowest pace of judicial staffing in at least a generation, with a paltry 39.8 percent of Obama's judges having been confirmed," The federal judiciary is packed with conservatives.
