Just like Clinton failed to pursue investigations of GOP wrongdoing (including the role of George H.W. Bush in Iran-Contra, October Surprise,Iraqgate and Passportgate) to curry favor with the Repugs, which didn't work, Obama has followed the same failed pattern: he worked with the GOP to kill the Dubya Bush torture probe.  Why doesn't Obama just spare us and declare himself the Republican that he is.
