Enablers like Nancy Pelosi and Chris Van Hollen, et al. acted like Republicans when it came to Social Security.  Mulit-millionaire Pelosi guaranteed the Catfood Commission's anti-Social Security recommendations a House vote. And let's not forget who created this train wreck commission.

Obama's Catfood Commission Co-Chairs felt the need to address Social Security, even though it was not part of their mandate. The commission's mandate was to deal with the country's fiscal problems. Since Social Security is legally prohibited from ever spending more than it has collected in taxes, it cannot under the law contribute to the deficit.

"Because of the recession, the high unemployment rate and organized labor’s perceived vulnerability, businesses are aggressively asserting themselves [against workers] in ways never before imagined."

What many describe as unprecedented, one in four Catfood Commission staffers aren't paid by the panel but by outside groups, mostly conservatives who want to destroy Social Security and Medicare.  And the Obama administration was OK with this?

Instead of foreclosing on the banking fraudsters, is the government going to use taxpayers' monies to bailout Bank of America again?
