Economic inequality and mortgage foreclosure crime by the banks: "In
today's America, the proud claim of "justice for all" is being
replaced by the more modest claim of "justice for those who can afford it".
With Boehner as Speaker of the House, "America is now officially for sale....all made easy for Republicans by the fact that most of the Democratic Party slithers in the same trough of corruption, begging from the same billionaires and corporations, and so can deliver only a tiny notch more for ordinary Americans."
Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) "co-chair of the House Progressive Caucus, believes the House Democrats left standing after this year's epic wipeout must defend liberal ideals more fiercely than ever.....vowed that House progressives would block any proposal that compromised their values."
The right answer was to fight but Democratic Party didn't do it so where do the disappointed, betrayed electorate go from here, as the Democratic Party apparently moves further to the right?
"Cheap money won't fix this economy." The Fed's "dollar in the dustbin" strategy won't create jobs.....It's about power. It's about who is going to dictate policy to the rest of the world. Bernanke wants emerging markets to bear the costs of a financial crisis that originated on Wall Street and was nurtured every step of the way by the easy money policies of the Federal Reserve.
