Nothing we didn't know, but it bears repeating: BP's oil spill economic damage could take years to identify, in addition, scientific uncertainties remain, like the effect on marine life, etc.....the question is, given BP's terrible track record of causing death and destruction, will the US hold the company's feet to the fire for accountability and true payment of damages during those years.

US needs to keep its distance and allow South American diplomacy to resolve the Columbia-Venezuela dispute.
