Hypocritical and Prevaricating GOP Putz, Eric Cantor's Office Attack Claim Bogus

The GOP has a sordid recent history of law breaking dirty political tricks since the Nixon administration.

Eric Cantor apparently is cut from the same mold as the Republican supporters and bosses of Donald Segretti, Lee Atwater, and Karl Rove.

Random not deliberately aimed gunfire struck the window but did not even penetrate blinds at the office of Eric Cantor the hypocritical and prevaricating GOP putz who shamefully accused the Dems of hyping actual vandalism and violence against Democratic elected officials and/or their offices.

“It is reckless to use these incidents as media vehicles for political gain,“ Cantor told reporters.

So why did Cantor make his bogus, nonsensical claim?  For political gain; to blunt the reality of the GOP unleashed right wing vandalism and violence.

No one with any shred of intelligence, logic, and integrity can seriously believe that these violent criminal incidents are in any way bipartisan.   The targets have been Democrats and the perpetrators have been right wing fanatics incited and encouraged by Republicans leaders who believe it is to their advantage to do so.  The GOP is also complicit by its leaders' silence, excuses, or pathetically weak pseudo condemnation dismissive of reality.

Now that Cantor's claims of an office attack have been punctured by law enforcement perhaps he should concentrate on the right wingers that dominate his GOP who are the ones "fanning the flames" of violence.

For example:

From Think Progress:"Sarah Palin seemed to fan the flames of discontent by labeling a map of vulnerable lawmakers’ districts with crosshairs on her Facebook page and tweeting, “Commonsense Conservatives & lovers of America: ‘Don’t Retreat, Instead – RELOAD!’” This morning, NBC’s Ann Curry asked Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) if he believed his former running mate should use less “incendiary” language. McCain condemned any violence but excused Palin’s “reload” rhetoric and use of crosshairs."

As Jeff Feldman writes at AlterNet: "Rather than recoil at violent language, GOP leadership seems to see it as a chance to turn out votes."

Eric Cantor fits in that category
