FYII, Monday, November 23

Obama administration's foreign policy in oil rich Latin America is increasingly resembling the Bush regime's.  "...acquiring unprecedented freedom of action in seven new military, naval and air bases in Colombia. The development – and the reaction of Latin American leaders to it – is further exacerbating America's already fractured relationship with much of the continent.

Single payer activists, like Healthcare Now did recently, are calling on Congress to defeat the mess that is the current health care bill,l a "massive bailout of the private health insurance industry" and another historical sellout of the American people; substitute it with HR 676: ditto the Senate fiasco...substitute it with S. 703.

"Being able to travel to school in relative safety is something children all over the world take for granted. But, for Palestinian children living in the shadow of the ubiquitous and illegal Israeli settlements dotting the West Bank, simply walking to school can be a terrifying experience."'

Financial industry crooks like arrogant, lying Goldman Sachs, whose hypocritical "contribution" to small business is a slap in the face joke, should be hit with "a
temporary tax imposed on banks that were bailed out to compensate for the damage they have inflicted on the economy."
