Poll on Leadership of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Tim Kaine, DNC chair
Kos had a leadership poll posted today regarding Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy
Pelosi and Tim Kaine, DNC chair and whether you approved, disapproved
or were undecided about how they were doing their jobs.
Harry Reid is terrible, Nancy Pelosi leaves a lot to be desired and both multimillionaires are the typical elected minority mind set DINOs who have been inhabiting Capitol Hill since the GOP was in the majority for more than a decade from 1995 until the election of 2006; the caving to GOP type of Dems.
As for Tim Kaine, governor of Virginia for a few more weeks, we currently have a part timer and DINO in charge of the DNC. Obama can sure pick 'em.
Kaine doesn't believe in women's reproductive rights, and was a cheerleader and avid supporter of Bush's invasion and occupation of Iraq. He backed the construction of Dominion Power's new coal fired plant, a blatant anti-environment stance. But, of course, Dominion contributed to his campaign and inaugural to the tune of six figures. And this anti-labor DINO is proud that Virginia is a right to work state!
Instead of insisting on running on a Democratic ticket with a Democratic female candidate for lieutenant governor, he ran a separate campaign so, while he won the gubernatorial election in 2005, the GOP took the lieutenant governor;s post as well as the attorney general's seat. The latter taken by right wing Repug Bob McDonnell now running for governor.
Kaine has been a lackluster governor, with a meager, pitiful record. As titular head of the Democratic Party in Virginia, he has done very little to expand the party base or identify and support real Democrats for office. He is a conservative who has does diddly to help progressive Democrats.
That Obama seriously considered him for his vice-president is appalling.
That Obama chose him as DNC chair says a lot about Obama and what he thinks of the Democratic Party.
Perhaps it takes a DINO to put a DINO fox in charge of the Democratic Party hen house.
Under Kaine: Strong Democratic Party RIP.
