Bush, McCain, the RNC and Its Convention Delegates are Anti-American

Yet, again, Bush and the Republican Party show that they are rabidly anti-American and anti-Constitution.  Not only do they hypocritically wrap themselves in the flag, they denigrate and defy the rights enshrined in the Constitution.

As ThinkProgress reported: "Tonight in his address via satellite to the Republican National Convention, President Bush blasted Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) critics. Invoking McCain's time as a POW in a North Vietnamese prison, Bush compared these torturers to members of the "angry Left":

If the Hanoi Hilton could not break John McCain's resolve to do what is best for his country, you can be sure the angry Left never will.

"Bush received a loud, standing ovation."

This from a president who called the Constitution "just a goddamned piece of paper" and whose criminal administration, the worst in American history, authorized and supported torture, extraordinary rendition, spied on Americans without a warrant, illegally invaded and occupied Iraq based on lies, and other nefarious and felonious policies and actions supported by anti-American, proto-fascist, reactionary Republicans.
