Is Nancy Pelosi Really a Democrat??? Not With Statements Like This

Nancy is being her usual, arrogant self, denigrating the American people by proclaiming when she's not insinuating that she knows better than they about FISA and accountability versus retroactive immunity. Sounds like she's backing that other Wussacrat crony of hers, the corporate loving invertebrate, let's make a deal, the hell with the law Rep. Steny Hoyer, who also hasn't met a lobbyist he doesn't like.
Even regular Americans are smarter and wiser than the Democratic Speaker of the House and her crew about issues, a speaker who apparently is only concerned about the necessity of caving to Bush, no matter the damage he inflicts on the American people, so he doesn't veto bills.Its time for permanent minority mind set Nancy Pelosi to resign or retire. If not, perhaps Californians in her district should think seriously about voting for Cindy Sheehan.
Don't forget this is Nancy Pelosi, who says impeachment remains off the table.

Republicans were previously able to force Democrats into concessions on the legislation, raising the threat of terrorists falling off the surveillance grid as they plotted attacks on the United States. But the tactic seemed to lose some of its punch this year given the unpopularity of the Bush administration. Democrats were comfortable letting the law lapse, forcing the negotiations that seem to be on the verge of a bipartisan compromise.
