"That’s just about the straightest talk we’ve heard from McCain all season. It’s not just the war. McCain votes with Bush 89 percent of the time, on issues from taxes to outsourcing jobs. He voted to uphold Bush’s veto of a children’s health care bill, and he campaigned around the country in support of Bush’s failed attempt to privatize Social Security.
"McCain’s made himself clear. Voting for him will, indeed, be a continuation of the Bush agenda. And those AFL-CIO protestors he’s talked about aren’t going anywhere. Since he won’t speak to workers, workers will have to keep confronting him at his photo ops and $2,300-a-plate dinners. Union members will get the word out in public and online: We don’t need four more years."
