Onward They Go

Well, the Democratic race between Clinton and Obama is very close, which shouldn't be a surprise.  While Clinton won some large primary states, like California, New York and Massachusetts, Obama won a majority of the Super Tuesday states including his big home state, Illinois.

The Guardian headline read: "Clinton and Obama face fight to the finish."  And so it probably will be.

In the GOP race, McCain continued his lead but delivered no defining knockout punch to the other two, and the Huckster, who campaigns like the right wing, fundamentalist minister he is, predictably took the five southern states by cornering the evangelical vote, while Mittens' millions didn't help him.

So, congratulations to Obama and Clinton, who have both declared victory.

Onward, they and we go!
