Bush the Impaler

Does King George want to create a budget surplus by chucking his tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans instead of trying to make it permanent, or decreasing the largest military defense budget in the world, or bringing our troops home from a financially draining war in Iraq, or raising corporate cronies' taxes who don't pay their fair share like oil companies who made out like bandits this year while the American economy is in crisis?

Hell, no. Bush wants to try and create a surplus by punishing seniors and low income folks by cutting Medicare and Medicaid funding to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, ambulances and home care agencies which would decrease their access to health care services, according to an article in the NYTimes.   For example, the cuts would eliminate many home health care agencies.

However, true to form, Dubya doesn't touch the profits of his insurance companies' pals.  As the NYTimes reports, "The budget would not touch payments to insurance companies for private Medicare Advantage plans, even though many Democrats and independent experts say those plans are overpaid."

Bush the Impaler believes in corporate profits before people and he proves it by his latest ploy to stick it to seniors and lower income Americans who rely on Medicare and Medicaid for basic health care.

The man is truly evil.

And impeachment is still off the table?
