When it comes to the Constitution and FISA laws, forget it. "Who needs warrants, who cares," say the telecoms while dingbat members of Congress and Bush's intelligence flunkies call them patriotic defenders of national security.  AT&T, Verizon, and other telecoms follow orders, even illegal ones, from their the-Constitution-is-just-a-piece-of-paper Republican president and his administration toadies.  Cue the lights, the national anthem, the color guard with the flag.

FBI late on paying its phone bill......"Cut the surveillance phone lines. Lost  evidence? Too bad; pay your bill, Mueller!" say the telecoms. "Who do you think you're fooling with here, the American people?  Hell, no, it's us, the telecoms!  Cut those lights, the anthem, and the color guard with the flag."
