New Hampshire Primary Over; Onward We Go!
New Hampshire's primary is over. Congratulations to the Democratic candidates. It is still a three way race. Any of these Democrats are head and shoulders above the media darling, fear and war mongering John McCain and the rest of the business as usual Republican field.
However, it would be interesting and a boost to a true political process to have this triple candidate race continue into the Democratic convention....a real convention, not just an event for crowning the already known nominee, speechifying, and listening to mostly insipid comments from media reporters trying to fill air time.
You will find a brief but excellent analysis of the NH primary results here.
As the Marist College poll indicated, Democratic voters were concerned about three issues: the economy, Iraq, and health care. The Democratic base will hold its nominee's feet to fire on these issues.
Onward we go.
