Thanks to Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) for standing up for the Constitution and also his senatorial supporters.  They all rejected the flawed FISA "reform" bill from the Senate Intelligence Committee led by corporate shill, Senate Jay Rockefeller (D-WVA), and brought to the Senate floor by Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) who ignored Dodd's hold on the bill, a bill which would have granted telecoms retroactive immunity.  Telecoms who were complicit with Bush in breaking the law by warrantless surveillance should be held accountable.

Reid pulled the bill until January.  Jay Rockefeller was upset.  Good!   He and Harry Reid are not true Democrats but corporate lobbyists' flunkies.  They are not to be trusted.  Reid has given no explanation as to why he dishonored Dodd's hold but "honored" Republican senators egregious holds on other bills.

Senator Dodd and his supporters should be ready for round #2 in January when Reid, Rockefeller and their corporate protecting Democratic and Republican cohorts will try to ram the telecom immunity FISA bill through the Senate. 

Dodd reminds us never to take Bush's "trust me" for an answer. He should not trust Reid or Rockefeller either.
