Bush is a champion of economic inequality.  Why else would he decrease the pay raises of Federal employees?  He thinks the proposed increases are too high.  However, he continues to champion the have's and have mores.

Amazingly, there are many Federal employees and retired Federal employees who are staunch Republicans.  Bush, Cheney, their entire administration and  Republican current and retired Federal employees decry single payer health care for all, Social Security, etc. but continue to receive government pay, health care, and pension benefits they claim to despise.  They all should actually follow their Republican beliefs, renounce all their benefits, and purchase their health care and pensions in the Republican vaunted, your-on-your-own market.
