What a wonderful reminder of my parents and grandparents, all staunch Democrats.

Henry Moyers got it and spoke for millions of Americans who got it, too, when he said, "I can't talk like him {FDR}, but I sure do think like him."  Democrats in the 21st century need to get it if they haven't yet, otherwise, don't call yourself a Democrat.

Henry Moyers didn't finish the fourth grade and never made more than $100 a week.  But, he had a friend in the White House who shared his ideas about actually making things better for everyone, unshakable belief in the Constitution, and faith in regular working Americans....true Democrats.
