How often is Congress going to accept Director of National Security Mike McConnell's lies?  He lies to their faces. What do they plan to do about it? 

He lied about the temporary expanded FISA law stopping an alleged terrorist plot in Germany.

McConnell misled Congress again last week when he told them that the "old" FISA law cost a kidnapped American soldier's his life.

Let's not forget Senator Patrick Leahy warning McConnell not to again threaten that debating FISA would cost American lives."  McConnell repeated it anyway.

Admiral McConnell is dishonest, just like other Bushites testifying before Congress, when they condescend to do so....Condi, Gonzalez, etc. 

Harriet Miers is in contempt of Congress but so what, nothing has happened.  Bushite administration officials thumb their noses at Congressional subpoenas and disregard and lie to the American people's representatives with impunity. 

There is no strong, effective Democratic leadership in this Democratic majority Congress.

The late Senator Sam Ervin would be appalled.
