Freedom-For-Me-But-Not-For-Thee

Bush and his Republicans are trying to kill democracy and destroy the Constitution.

A citizen is removed during a committee hearing for reminding members of the House of Representatives to do their jobs. 'Swear Him In' Provokes Expulsion "House Democrats were on edge over any possible affront to Gen. David Petraeus during his Iraq War testimony. So much so that when former CIA officer Ray McGovern made the vocal suggestion -- during a technical delay to fix a microphone -- that the witness be sworn in, McGovern was forced to leave the hearing room. In this first-person account, McGovern notes that Petraeus then gave his pro-escalation testimony without ever swearing to tell the whole truth."

You have no rights, Mr. McGovern.

Republicans are upset with Move-On's Petraeus ad in The New York Times.  Move On's ad was factual and substantiated. Why weren't the Republicans angry about the lying Swift Boat ads that targeted then presidential candidate, Senator John Kerry, during the 2004 campaign or the current untruthful Freedom Watch videos? Why didn't Bush's Congressional Republican rubber stamps condemn those two organizations as they did MoveOn?  Because Republicans use these Republican Rovian organizations, like Swift Boaters and Freedom Watch, as proxies and stalking horses to spew and spread venomous lies and distortions for authoritarian, freedom-for-me-but-not-for-thee Republican Bushites.

You, have no rights, MoveOn.

Reverend Lennox Yearwood had his constitutional rights assaulted and his leg broken by Capitol Hill police.  He had the audacity to be waiting in line to enter the hearing room for General Petraeus's testimony.  He was pulled out of line by the police and jumped on by several officers.  Why? Perhaps they didn't like his lapel button "I Love The Iraqi People." That was one of the justifications Bush continued to use for his invasion and occupation of Iraq---to bring democracy to the Iraq's people.  Bush wants to bring democracy to Iraq but kill it in the United States.

You have no rights,  Reverend Yearwood.  Off to jail with you!
